The Unknown Indian

During one of my journeys back home in our precious 'Indian Railways' , as usual i was staring out of the window, music in my ears and absorbing every bit of what i see. Suddenly i realize i should buy a professional camera, this was when the train slowed and it was crossing a station, a really long one.

The board read Phagwara Junction, just behind the board , sun was setting and i had a zooming out of its view. I turn my head look at the platform so  much stuff happening silently, some sadhus talking , 3 boys look at the train and smiling, some kids waiting and wondering what is happening and their families in the endless wait of the train, a couple at the other corner, they are close and the guy is younger, she was smiling and the train stopped with a jerk putting my focus on two sadhus. one of them was bathing with a cloth tied on his lower body and the other was done with his bath, he displayed an attire typical to the word Sadhu, a white super loose kurta and a dhoti, he seemed to be very comfortable, he was not wearing anything on his head and had long hair, he might have just had his head bath . Surprisingly he had a comb too and was untangling his hair, i searched for his turban there it was on the pillar, washed and getting ready to crown him. he was not aware of me noticing me, i wonder if he was then he must have not done things so naturally, he then took out took out a steel glass and a packet of food which was tucked safely between his blanket kept for next winters. he opens the packed and safely gets his wallet out and puts it into his kurta's inner pocket without letting the other sadhu know! Oh! His street smart skills and the horn blows I stare at him and I realize his entire life was in those 2 thailas and a blanket he had, he was homeless and i wonder after how long he had his such a luxurious bath.

He was just one out of millions of such sadhus in India. Either the situation or the desire, whatever the reason may be of their being, they know how to find happiness. the little happiness in having a bath on the station. For him nobody was looking at him in such a public place. He was so habitual to ignorance.

We aim for big shot lavish bungalows Jacuzzi and what not! I don't say that owning such things is bad but these things matter the least, just imagine this man had NOTHING like NOTHING. I cannot even imagine of surviving this way.

Now he may be a fraud but unknowingly he let me believe in happiness and he became the hero of this article.

Sometimes I feel Proud of Myself!

No matter how many times I've fallen and got hurt, No matter how many downs I have seen in my life, No matter how many rejections world has given me, No matter how many times I have hated myself, But every time one of these things happen life gives me a Bright reason to stand up clean the mess and move on!
Some times there are situations where i end up wondering and questioning the basic being of this world and me. Some times I just want to think about ME and let the world do hell with itself. Some times I just want to sit and cry all day long.
NO! wait! this is not just the story of ME but many of the ones who are reading this.
Often we think we are the only one who has been cursed but just think if we didn't have failures , we would have never be proud of our success. Our lives sometimes don't go the way we think it should, but does it mean we should stop thinking about better life.
Success and failure always go hand in hand but in all of this either the situation is bad or good there happen little incidences that make us pat our back! and off course these pats on our backs give us the strength to fight towards happiness. Even if we never had Huge successes but all of have little success. Everybody has different ones, either the happiness of having helped some one financially or helped someone with requirements of life Or the happiness after completing a birthday card. The perfect feeling of shouting on the top of world even after knowing we haven't done something great, but in our own inner self the feeling is great.
End of the day the little successes make your life a happy and successful life
and some times huge successes are never able to do what these little one can do.
Therefore, aim for huge success but don't ever forget to collect the little success too
Good luck!

I want British rule back in INDIA minus the Cruelty!

Note: This article belongs ONLY to Indians and if you are not an Indian then it is strongly recommended to not read it further.

The only question I have in my mind is 'When will my bharat become mahan?' , We are heading towards nothingness of our own society. With 1.24 billion population, we have lost the identity of the great India we want. Still today all around the world people believe that India is a poor country with rich heritage and vibrant colors. But in reality India is rich with poor people! And the irony is that in spite of having one of the longest and heaviest constitution in the world we have not succeeded in implementing it.
Now some of you might be wondering : Who am i to say all this? Why don't I respect my country? Why i'm only seeing the negative part of it? Why am i criticizing it? and many more such question!
Just because I love my country i want to let each one of us know what is going on and what should really go on! Just because I-common man elects the big politicians we expect them to do what they promise while begging for votes!Just because I have a voice I can shout And just because all of us have voice We can Shout!!
What do you think? Is India having Nehru's children? Or Do we have Bose's Youth? Or Gandhi or Teresa's Adults? Now India is not at all rich! Rich is becoming richer day by day and poor is becoming poorer day by day! And unfortunately we do not have much rich people! We boast about our morals Our culture Our tradition. Do we? Right! but now where is the culture? where is the tradition? Where are the morals?
But most importantly WHERE IS THE LANGUAGE?!!?! I am punjabi but i do not know how to speak punjabi!(Woah! this can be a good topic over all!) I am Hindustani But i Do not know how to write hindi! What is this going on? All you parents, when will you teach love for the country? but first when will your children learn to respect you? remember, Children learn what they see they set their priorities by what is taught to them!
off course English is an international language but IT IS NOT A OUR MOTHER TONGUE.
We have copied the infrastructure, the art from different parts of the world but don't you think we should just use them for inspirations? Movies like bhag milkha bhag and 3 idiots celebrate huge success because that is how rich our country is!! Do you know we have one of the most hard working people in the world. We have smartest businessmen in the west we have sweetest voices and most beautiful paint brushes in the east , we have extremely brainy south and land of north is good enough (because people in north are happy within themselves! ) But the ego of each one of us to do for ourselves has grown so big that just a 65 year old independence has lost!
You know why i wish Britishers come back? I know how cruel they were how they treated us and all of it.
I want the history to repeat! because We INDIANS only unite together when under pressure, we only work for our brothers and sisters when we know that we can be attacked any time.
I want a new independence day for our country.
Our democracy is not strong enough to run a country like ours. If only any one of you can answer my questions i will be happy enough
Why is a rape victim given money instead of punishing the rapists?
why have twitter and Facebook become the voice of our politicians when they are the most important people!
Why don't we promote our companies and welcome MNC's with huge heart? (may be because 'mehman bhagwan sman hote hai!')
why are children dying of the free food given to them in school?
Why does the help not reach to the ones who need? (consider Uttrakhand case!)
Why is the youth dying in drugs and sex?
Why does the politicians have bad habit of corruption?
Why are so many private universities opened when you know the students are not getting jobs after studying from there?
I don't know why these things are neglected in spite of being so common?
Even though we follow democracy which has a basic definition of  'of the people, by the people for the people'
U know what it has become 'Off the people, Buy the people and Forget the people!'
NOW! the time is not to go for candle light marches and fight for individual issues. India is going to run like this only. politicians will come, Sit on the chair as long as they can increase their weight and sign applications for new PRIVATE universities and New MNC's And ya welcome new drugs too!
Open your eyes INDIANS.This is YOUR country!

When Things don't happen the way You want them to happen!

Often in our lives Many things don't happen the way we want them to happen and some of them are so important for us that it hurts us mentally or some times physically.
when situations like this happen to children, parents make them understand. When situations like this happen to teenagers, many opt of crying in the corner of just cut their own wrist (this is weakest stage of our species!) , whereas for adults these situations may welcome tensions , stress and all the hurting stuff but most of the times they tend to keep it to themselves!
One thing that is common in all stages is that THEY HEAL! either we find a good solution or we let time heal it.
Each one of us has problems in our life but the solution is not to hide to run to just escape. The true success is achieved by the one who fights them. Fighting off course does not mean to bring swords, TNT's and have a fight , It means the physical power to overcome and balance your own life.
Many people often say 'You are not the same person i used to know!' ,  'You are not the one i loved!'. But then i don't understand if they were mature enough to know that we don't behave the way we used to then why aren't they mature enough to understand that time changes, and problems/situations make us grow and they always make us grow in a positive manner!
Nobody know how long you will live, may be 20 may be 50 or maybe 100 years but each day you learn. Each day we face a million problems but if we start crying over that fact that the path i am following had to turn right and you are wondering why it didnt turn right and instead left. Believe me it is for a reason.
Dont ever loose hope, if the path had to turn left then one day it will turn the way you want because in the end it is your own life! Your own path!
